Daniel is an Associate with Business for New Europe, based in Brussels. Having written his doctorate on Britain's entry to the European Community at Queen Mary, University of London, where he also lectured on UK-EU relations, Daniel joined Business for New Europe, and is now an EU affairs consultant, with expertise on EU economic governance, international trade and enlargement. His BNE Publications include: 'Scottish Independence and EU Accession', and 'Global Trade: the fall of Doha and the rise of bilateral agreements'.
In addition to Queen Mary, Daniel studied at the London School of Economics and the University of Liverpool, and was a Visiting Student at the European University Institute in Florence.
